Hello Everyone.

I was having issues with my remote desktop so I got the instructions to re install it. I downloaded the uninstall tool, I removed it, rebooted pc, then i downloaded the most recent version Citrix Workspace app 1912 LTSR for Windows, then I tried to install it, but iIjust got an error message saying, 'this is not the most recent version of citrix, we reccomend to download and install the most recent one from the citrix website'. All I can do is click and close the error message and thats it.

Do someone know why this is happening and what can I do about it?

The Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 1912 Long-Term Service Release (LTSR) is now available for download. This LTSR brings two years’ worth of new functionality and feature enhancements to customers currently running 7.15 LTSR and gives our Current Release (CR) customers a chance to take advantage of all the latest updates.

The LTSR Process

May 07, 2020 Citrix Provisioning 1912 LTSR, Cumulative update 1 Release Date: May 7, 2020. Citrix Workspace App for Windows V 1912 LTSR CU3 1/20/2021. And click the ^Download Citrix Workspace app for Windows button. If prompted, click the ^Run.

An LTSR release comes along once every few years. The Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops LTSR track is targeted at customers with production environments who prefer to stay on the same version of the product for an extended period of time. The LTSR program offers up to 10 years of support, so administrators have plenty of time to plan, test, and deploy their environments. I discussed the benefits and deployment options in more detail in our LTSR prep blog.
